HURRICANE SEASON FORECAST 12:00 AM EDT May 25, 2008 Notes & Asides: The IWIC 2008 Atlantic hurricane season outlook has been released. We are very confident in the general forecast after displaying a high degree of skill in forecasting both net tropical cyclone activity and landfalls over the last 2 years. Viewers may notice that the discussion is not quite as lengthy as it has been in years past. This is simply due to the conclusion that viewers are more interested in the actual forecast rather than the technical intricacies involved in putting it together.
